Dragon is real. Everybody else is just a figment of Dragon's imagination. Or they're just computer-generated bots that were created to make Dragon think that she's not the only one on this planet, but really she's just plugged into some giant alien machine and some day she'll have to pick which pill she wants to take... Kinda like The Matrix.

This is an excellent question. If I understand you correctly, you are saying that nothing else seems real but you. This phenomenon does not happen to everybody. It is called solipcism.
You might do some reading in ontology, the study of existence and the being of things, nouns, sets, collections of representations in the mind, the memory, etc.

because this world is unreal. nothing really matters here. you run a rat race that is life, and then you die. some people may care, but either they will forget you soon or they will die too. this life isn't anything. there is more to come on the other side.
