Did not help. They will tell you everything you already know..take deep breaths, think before you speak, remove yourself from the situation..blah blah blah...It was a waste of my time.
Seems if the people who keep ticking me off would change THEIR behavior, my attitude would be a lot better! :) ha ha

I did and it helped me a lot. Actually contrary to what people think, you can't change others, only yourself. It is about thinking before you explode, taking yourself out situations, etc.. but it's also about understanding what and why things set you off. . there is a cause/effect for everything. My father was a green beret and he taught my sister and I everything --he felt that as women we should be able to defend ourselves. We went to the shooting range, taught us hand to hand combat. . .therefore I could defend myself pretty well. I was always a nice/kind type - - and people always mistake kindness for weakness. So people used to pick with me and I would take it until I would explode. . for me it wasn't a quick temper, I'm slow to anger, but once I got there, I couldn't control it, almost beat someone to death in a fight. So no it's not cool to feed off your emotions. If you feel you need it - take it.
