The hybrid is unlikely to come but a micro-hybrid is a possibility but it vil come only after 2-3 years

the scorpio hybrid was shown at the 2006 AutoExpo, but it is unlikely to come to the indian market for a while because it would be
1. too expensive
2. the vehicle has to be made lighter, because the batteries are very heavy themselves. They need to shave off about 400kg before they can think about it.
