I'm not going to do your work for you, but there are some areas you need to compare:

Sound quality is a qualitative property, meaning each person who listens will hear something different. One of the main areas to stress when you buy speakers is to listen to them first.

You need to be looking at the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR or S/N) between the different media.

The difference between analog signals and digital signals. This makes a major difference in "sound quality". In my opinion, vinyl records sound better than cd's because it is described to be more "warm".

My suggestion is to look each up on wikipedia.com. There is a wealth of informaiton there.
