if you ever shop in accessorize, topshop, next and other such like shops, you'll no doubt have noticed the craze for doggie sweaters leads and even handbag dog carriers. how comes no-one made any for cats or ferrets for example, i know cats are generally not as keen on going for a walk, but isnt this animal predjudice or something?
secondly i cant understand the craze myself, so y do we all feel the urdge to walk around looking like the girl from legally blonde, or paris hilton etc. do we all need to pretend to be posh??

i think its really stupid looking when you see someone carrying a dog round in a bag. Dogs are meant to walk. And as for the clothes - dogs have fur and just don't need them. We had a Lhasa Apso and she had a coat which we put on her when it was raining heavily or snowing and she hated wearing it.

A Good Reputable Pet Shop Will Order Anything You Need Or Want,
If You Look On Google You Should Find What You Are Looking For.
If Not Ask Your Local Pet Shop If They Have Any Details.

I have 3 chinese crested females. They are the powderpuff variety, but if I happen to shave them down, they tend to get cold. I usually go to the children's dept of Wal-Mart or Target and get t-shirts on sale. They love to wear them. So, although there is a practical reason, they are just cute at the same time.

I know it sounds funny, but my dog loves pretty stuff. If I leave anything pink regardless of what it is, for instance a shirt, bra, socks stuffed animal she wants it as hers. So I bought her a pink collar she brings it to me every morning so i can put it on her. I imagine if i had a pink shirt for her she would probably do the same thing. Shhh... she doesn't know she's a dog.

My Yorkie does have a pink coat - bought by my daughters. But she does feel the cold. I won't allow her to be dolled up though, that looks ridiculous. She can walk, too.
What I want to know is - why do people buy their pets Christmas presents? Are they mad?

Some dogs need clothes to stay warm in the winter, like a hairless dog. They weren't originally bred in areas with real cold weather so in wintertime they don't have fur to keep them warm.

Hurrah
Abso-blooming-lutely mate
Worst celebrity fashion craze at the moment though is 'adopting brown babies'
Why can't they just 'adopt' the village, build a school, give medicines and food? So many more would benefit

I know whatever happened to good old fashioned dog leads? I'm not posh and I don't ever want to be posh, people who are, just aren't being themselves.
