I am no doctor but my guess is that you have sinus headache. I get it too and it is rotten. I use a saline spray for the nose and simple paracetamol to rid the headache. I have tried all the remedies like Claratyne, Beconaise etc but I find I become immune to them quickly. The saline (salt water) sprayed a few times a day into the nostrils consistently works for me.
As to why you didn't get them during pregnancy. I don't know if you were simply pregnant away from hayfever season or the season that triggers the headaches for you...or maybe because your blood volume thickens and forces the vessels that carry the blood through your body to get larger and allow more blood through. Some headaches are caused due to restrictions in blood flow and narrowing of the vessels..those same pregnancy hormones would still have been floating about for the month after the birth.
Good luck finding something to help..it is a devil of a pain.

It's possible that it could be your hormones. It's strange that your sinus type headaches went away while you were pregnant considering that pregnant women are more prone to getting sinus infections due to the swelling of the membranes. Have you seen an ear/nose/throat doctor? It is possible that you have a chronic sinus infection and don't know it. It might help if you had windows put in your sinus cavities so they could drain better.

OH WOW!!!! You sound like me! I was discussing this very thing with a coworker....I'm going to the Doctor about this very same issue! I think it's hormonal but pill related. I feel your pain! Really, if you haven't done it already, ask your doctor to change your bc pill, this might help. Good Luck, I'll be thinking of you.

Sounds like hormones may have had an effect. I would insist on further testing - this does not sound healthy!
