>>>>>>>>>>>Ever heard of forgiveness, HABITANT? Maybe he's had a change of heart. You don't know him personally, so you have no right to judge him as a person - as a hockey player, ok, but as a person, no way.

I think that both parties (Eric Lindros and Bobby Clarke) were equally responsible for the divorce in Philadelphia. Bobby Clarke definately deserves much blame in how Lindros was handled (concussions, life-threatening injuries), but Eric Lindros' family had an equal hand in the mess as well. They overly micro-managed his career to his detriment. Eric Lindros was and still is percieved to be an immature brat who needs his daddy to make his way in the league.

Lindros is playing for Dallas, but his career isn't what it once was. He will be stuck being a journeyman living off of one year contracts until he retires willfully or medically. He can't play like a bull in a china shop anymore because he is one good concussion away from retirement or permanent disabilty.

Well, that just goes to show what an impact he's having in the NHL. I can't hate Dallas because they were once the Minnesota North Stars, and I have a Brian Bellows jersey from 1986 that I got from Miss Minnesota when the Miss USA pagent was held in Miami Florida.

And all Eric had to do was to tell his parents to STFU and let him play hockey, and Philadelphians would have respected him forever. But he chose to hide behind his daddy's beer belly.

I've always hated Eric Lindros from day one when he got drafted by the Quebec Nordiques and he turned them down and said he didn't want to play with them, even though the Nordiques got the better player in Forsberg, no player as a rookie should have the right to not sign with as team that drafted you. that's why i always hated him.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He'll never make the Hall Of Fame. Talk about dropping the torch that Mario handed him in Mario's final game (first time).

they were close to the cup in philly and a power struggle ensued...my opinion they kept the wrong guy but concussions ruined him as well but not fair to question his heart.
