Love it ... but what a nightmare road trip for the West Coast teams .... maybe they could take a road-swing and hit a couple of teams in one trip to save on travel.
This is not likely to happen though ... look how difficult it is for the Raptors (and was for the Grizz) with currency differences ... imagine introducing two or three more currencies into the mix ... disaster.

Yes, I like the idea but as David Stern says it just won't work. Have you ever noticed that there are only 2 or 3 European teams that ever get to play against NBA teams. That's because there are only 2 or 3 teams that can really compete. Maccabi Tel Aviv is the 2nd best team in Europe and they got beat by 30pts by Cleveland just 3 days ago. The best team in Europe is CSKA Moscow and they were easily beaten by Philadelphia last week during the "NBA Europe LiveTour" and Philadelphia didn't even make the play-offs last year. Of course the European teams can compete with the Raptors, Hawks, Trailblazers or Knicks, but do we really need to go all the way to Europe to play another team of that caliber?

I think it's a good idea, but it won't be until a couple seasons after they bring Euro teams over that the games get good to watch. The clashing styles of the faster paced, highlight reel US teams and the more fundamentally sound European teams is going to take some time to work out. I expect for a while games to be less exciting, and because of that, people aren't going to watch as much, but after a few seaons (maybe even ust one), the teams will adapt, and will find a good middle ground to play on.
Overall I think it's a good idea, it'll just take a little bit of time before it starts to work the way Jordan wants it to.

Yes, it certainly sounds like a great idea. But what about travel? Are you willing to lose an entire team to a plane crash in Europe or over the Atlantic?

The traveling expenses makes this a bad idea. Plus you are wrong when you think European teams could win on a regular basis in the NBA.

yes... I think good competition from other countries would clean up the NBA's image. It's one of the more paltry top sports in USA
