hmm, probably not, people would be our 'mirrors' we would be constantly wondering why someone is staring at us, do I have something in my teeth? is my hair goofy today? big zit? I think we would be less self conscious if there were no fashion mags, models, and stars telling us to dress right and be the right size, shape and hair color.

No i don't think so...becuase you go by reactions from other people more so. I think mirrors are reassuring.
I'd be more self concious if i couldn't look in the mirror as I'd always wonder if I had something on my face, if clothes looked stupid etc.

Interesting thought. It would make daily life alot different. Hair, make-up, Yea, I think we would be less self conscious about their looks.

I think they might be more conscious, they'd have no way of checking to see if they had food or something on their face until someone gave them funny looks.

People would be less self concious because they wouldnt know what they looked like. However they would still see other people, and if you dont know what you look then chances are less likely that people will still dress like they should.

Absolutely...
But they'd still be self-conscious because they'd see everyone around them and wonder what they looked like themselves. So there'd still be some form of comparison.

lemmi think...YES YES YES...and..yes!! with mirrors you can see yourself and when you see yourself, you see your flaws a lot better than you can with rivers or a bottle of water..you get more vein...other people say that that's not true but you know what?? long before christ, mirrors were invented and that's when romans started shaving..but long before, people looked like savages and they didn't care much even if they were fat..
