I'm a huge fan of VHS...

Except for the whole Rewind-Fast Forward hassle on a VHS.

I'm such a VHS kinda guy!

I keep my collection right next to:
my 8-track tapes
my CB radio
my rotary phone
my Commodore 64
my analog speaker
and my collection of books about learning dead languages like Sanskrit.

I love DVDs for the convenience. I have so many old shows and music video's on VHS that I will never be able to get on DVDs. (unless I burnt them on to DVDs. What a pain in the butt that would be!) So I still got love for VHS tapes. Some things can't be replaced just cause technology has gone in a different direction!

VHS has the "old School" appeal, but DVD is much better. No more fast-forwarding or rewinding. Much clearer picture too.

I prefer VHS because I rarely watch an entire movie at one sitting. With the VCR you can just come back and pick right up where you left off. I find getting to the DVD menu and stumbling through the scene selections very annoying.

Both are fine with me. But DVD's do have the advantage of not having to wait for the rewind.

I like dvds because they are faster that video tapes. On dvds you can pick what you want really fast. They are also smaller and easier to carry. Also the picture and sound are better than on tapes and tapes can get old and mess up.

DVD. No rewind! Also you can find what you are looking for faster on them and the picture and sound quality are better.

don't get the mixture in case you may desire to have one or the different repaired you lose the two. I honestly have a DVD participant and a separate PDR. own digital recorder reckoning on the putting i'm getting everywhere from eighty to over a hundred hours of recording time. No tapes no disks to save or subject approximately and whilst its finished i erase what i do no longer prefer and easily save recording.
