I go to this school right, and it's very rare to see a white person (afrikaans speaking) talking to a black person. What happens when you start to fall for a white dude, who doesn't seem to intend on making the first move? Will it work flirting with him or just tell him how you feel? Please give me some tips on this!!!!!!!

Tell him how you feel and ask him is race a problem. People always say that they are cool with black on white but they are not. Just because 21 century does not mean racism does not exist. If he likes you for you then go for it and do not worry about what people think or say.

If there is such a divide in your school you should first of all examine what the cause of this is before you pursue this guy.Chances are you will face a lot of criticism from your school mates should this relationship develop. Is he really worth loosing friends over and all the grief it will cause???I would think it over very carefully and maybe talk about it with a close friend who really knows the environment you are in if you can before going any further.

I love myself,my life and my people so they come first every time!
Peace.
