to me its seems trashy and lowlife
I equate a girl thats calls herself a diva with a guy that calls himself a pimp - just a scumbag of a person
this includes the female celebrities that call themselves Divas - U are all trashy!!!

A diva is a drama queen, a spoiled brat who gets whatever she wants, when she wants it, or explodes in a tantrum.
People who call themselves divas need to think about the connotations of the word and if they still apply it to themselves, ought to get some sense smacked into them. Confidence is attractive. A gigantic ego is not.

a diva is a woman or girl who has excelled as singing. if someone calls themselves a diva they are claiming the title for themselves and therefore it is meaningless.
however if someone else or society calls them a diva it's a compliment and might be well earned, i.e Whitney Huston, Myrah Carry, yadda yadda

I do not like it. Diva are associated with getting what they want no matter who they hurt. I think that diva means spoiled and self-absorbed
