A person who is willing to show him/herself as being vulnerable is stronger than the person who hides behind a facade of strength. The person who is willing to try to harm a person using the other s weak points is weaker than his victim because s/he cannot face the other's strength on the same plane or level. The weak person may be hurt by the person who purposefully harms him or her, but the stronger person is more likely to be shattered when seeing the weaker person rise again.

Besides obvious physical characteristics like frail, small..... if for example they are hanging around listlessly, looking bored, in "anonymous" places with "things to do" such as arcades of one-armed bandits. If they appear to hide their head from passers-by.... seem weighed down by life's cares...... there's a kind of 'energy' of ultra-low self-esteem that 'predators' pick up on. The opposite of looking self-assured with your head high and like you know where you are going and why.
