"their brains are smaller than a peanut." That is so funny!!! Can I use that line?
I wondered the same thing a few years ago. But your definition of smart and sexy can be a bit subjective. Smart can be book-smart or street smart or plain 'ole common sense. Sexy can be Denzel Washington 'sophisicated' sexy or Brad Pitt 'rip his clothes off and have your way with him' sexy.
Chemistry comes in all shapes and sizes - smart and sexiness too. Maybe you have something fixed in your mind of your ideal man. Honey - there is NO IDEAL man out there. You have to get to know someone with the good and BAD qualilties. People have quarks about them that make them stand out. You might want to determine of a guy is right for you but how you feel when you are around him. If he makes you laugh, challenge you, or you have fun with him. Then the exterior might not be so important.
There are smart and sexy men out there. They just don't stand out like the rest.

If you meet enough guys, eventually you will find one with the proper mix of qualities. In my experience, however, even the smart, sexy guys have major flaws (like heavy drinking or depression), and you have to ask yourself where your priorities lie. Not all smart, sexy guys are created equal; there is one out there that fits you, but you haven't found him yet. My advice is to stop looking and do what you enjoy. Feed your own brain, and hang out in places that satisfy your intellectual curiosity. Chances are, if you make a habit of this, you'll find men with similar interests. Then you have narrowed your pool of candidates to the ones you might consider smart; then pick the one you consider the hottest. I wouldn't go into this with the single minded intention of finding a mate, however. In my opinion, this mindset clouds your purpose and causes you to make bad choices. Forget you are looking, and he will come to you!

Mostly Europe. Though you will find a few in the United States. When you say smart are you looking for knowledge or intelligence? What's the difference to you?
