File in the trash, it is a con job. Did you enter this lotto? Did you fill out anything from the people offering free gifts? If not, you will find that nothing is free. If you dont just want to throw it away, sit with strong glasses and read the fine print. There is always a hitch. Under no circumstances call a phone number that is included. You might just get a bill for some outrageous amount of money for an overseas call. I got one of these myself not too long ago. There was a check for 3000 that was the REAL thing...all I had to do was call this number and finance this 3000 until the rest of my winnings came through. Beware. Trash.

It's a hoax.

If you give me ur Credit Card number you are in for a real surprise: you might lose all you have in the bank and run into debit problems.

That's what these people do, I had received (and am still receiveing) about 20 or more such spams. Let me tell you, some domains sell your e-mail ID to organisations that in turn keep e-mailing from different e-mails and finally take ur CC number. Ur CC number is verrrrrry fragile, do NOT give it to any-one not even ur trusted people. U might become broke even before u realize.

If you put some thought into it, no legitimate lottery would ever ask you for anything other than your identification to ensure you are the person entitled to the winnings. If you are required to submit a credit card or pay a fee to get your winnings, their is a very good possibility that the lottery is a scam.

Did you sign up for Free Lotto?
If not then nobody sends out free prizes, and I would classify this as junk mail, and I wouldn't give out my creditcard.
If you did sign up, instead of giving out creditcard information, try to find a phone number from Free Lotto and call to confirm, maybe ask for a cheque to be sent to you.

If any time any source tells you you have won anything or wants to give you anything. 1st you ignore it. There are many scams out there.Every day there is a new one. Any time they want any of your private or personal information do not give it to them. If i do not recognize the source of an email i trash it unopened.Nothing is for free. Any person who they say won is in on the scam.(Greed makes scams work.)also good Samaritans get scammed too. So don't assume if someone needs your help they aren't trying to rip you off.

Run (don't walk) to the phone and turn this into the police. DO NOT give them your credit card number - this is their first step to their taking your money. I had a good friend taken to the cleaners over a deal like this (she received it in the mail).

This is a scam. If you won money, why on earth would they need your credit card number? DON'T give them your number.
