How many people actually feel that the government intended for the attacks of 9/11 to happen?

With movies like Loose Change or Painful Deceptions out there, how many of you sincerly feel that the Goverment of our country either action or inaction allowed the attacks of 9/11 to happen?
(Personaly I rate these movies as well thought out conspiracies, I for one trust the Goverment and experts, at least this time.)

I actually have an inside track on this particular question however the sorce I will leave out. To give you some information I was there at the towers. There was no conspiratory action when those planes hit. What really happen is much more scary.. What really happen is we got caught with our pants down. And once more even scarier is that now they know we are vulnerable.. we still do not have a decent defense grid up. anyway think about protecting yourself. One way is less dependence on foriegn oil.. just because the prices are down ... don't let up on tht because congress will if we don't keep bugging them.

In many areas this government has shown itself entirely untrustworthy. Having said that, the 9/11 conspiracy theorists are simply wrong. Yes, we ignored warnings, yes, we failed to protect against Al Qaeda -- abandoning the strides the Clinton Administration had attempted. But this was stupidity, not malice.
Conspiracies on the level alleged just don't happen, too many people would hsave had to be involved. And while Bush is callous towards human life, this was beyond even him.

There is a difference between "allowing" the attacks to happen, and participating in the attacks themselves. I do agree that the government in general could have done more to stop the actions of terrorists in general, but in hindsight, the government could always have done more. The government does not always look out for everyone's best interests (that would be impossible), nor is it inherently evil.

Sometimes it is good to go through how the experts came up with their conclusions. In the case of the WTC building collapse, it is nearly impossible to follow their claims, they pretty much say take my word for it. They also chose not to even try to explain some things like how did jet fuel melt steel. Keep in mind jet fuel does not melt the turbines of the jet engine. And yes, solidified molten steel was found under all three buildings.

Most all the evidence that is available to us, show that the WTC buildings were rigged with explosives. Our own government had motive as was well as an opportunity to do this crime. Here is the evidence, presented for your scrutiny.

FAKE CONFESSION
The official government story is that the 9/11 attack was orchestrated by Al Qaeda, which is lead by Osama bin Laden. The proof our government provided was a video with Osama confessing to the crime. The problem with the video is that the person in the video does not look like Osama bin Laden: See picture.

Molten, beyond red hot, "steel" was video recorded coming out of the South Tower just before it collapsed. Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to turn steel to liquid.

Also found was a WTC core beam; most probably cut using the demolition cutting charge (Thermate). MOTIVE
The New Conservatives (Neo-Cons), with the help of their friends, started planning the invasion of Iraq, shortly after Pres. Bush took office. Apparently, the plan would include the attack of the WTC buildings. It did this to get the support of congress and the nation, to attack Iraq. Read it from their own PENAC document. Pay special attention to the section entitled "Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force" page 50 and the top of page 51, where it states we need a new Pearl Harbor attack to get the ball rolling.

OPPORTUNITY
Witnesses saw a work crew going into the WTC buildings with rolls of wire, supposedly for internet upgrades. Tenants were moved around while crews "upgraded" the cable systems. The Port Authority cut power to the building for a whole weekend, just prior to the attack; shutting down the entire security systems. Witnesses also heard crews operating heavy hammering equipment that left a gray cement like dust, in the building. This activity took place just weeks before the 911 attack: The Port Authority had released control of the buildings to Larry Silverstein, six weeks prior to the attack: He made $4 billion off of the attack.

Conspiracy Theories are part of human nature.

We are suspicious of big government and we have an urge to explain away evil in humanity and replace it with an evil, faceless, soulless entity.

I think that the government could have done more to prevent the attacks but I do not think they either induced or allowed them to happen.

I don't believe the wingnut conspiracy theories out there. Remember, this was the 2nd attempt at bringing down the Twin Towers. It's not like this came out of the blue. It was just larger and more well-planned than previous attacks.
