I wanted to be an Engineering Draughtsman.
I left school at fourteen, as was the law, and worked in an engineering factory as a Fitter and Turner.
I was twenty-seven before I got the chance but it took a lot of study and work to do so.
With so much practical work that was now matched with theory, I raced ahead with ease and finally I found my dream job by accident and it was nothing to do with engineering.
Here and because of my background I raced ahead again and didn't like the view this time.
I became self employed where it became a family occupation for a while and these were my very best days.
If you think I had a silver spoon? I didn't.

Make every job your dream job and one day your dreams will happen if you take the opportunities that come along.
I found this worked well in the Army too when I was called up.

Honestly, I've had my dream job. I was a line mechanic and Avionics technician on a squadron. I repaired and serviced Jaguar aircraft (see pic) in all weather, marshalled them away and back in, and got to travel the world with some fantastic people in the process.

I did this for 3 1/2 years and truly loved every minute of it. Made some fantastic mates and travelled further than I had before.

Unfortunately, it was short lived. The squadron disbanded (government cutbacks) and I was forced to move (kicking and screaming) to another station. I'm now doing a desk job, plonking away on a computer, almost falling asleep everyday. I'm an oudoors person. I love getting cold and wet, hot and dry etc. I'm stuck in a room and I hate it. I'm trying to get to another Sqn, but It's difficult to climb back up once you've fallen :-(

My dream job....is working at a place like Sea World and being a trainer for dolphins. My job now? Completely different! I sit at a desk all day long, answering phones, and making reservations!
I'm not even close to my dream job; obviously!♥

My dream 'job' consists of traveling, meeting all sorts of animals, then writing about the place I'd have just visited. I've always wanted to go to Egypt, so I'd probably start there. As for now, I own my own novelty shop and I am also a manager of a Daycare. Of course I have taken steps towards my dream. I'm already a writer. I've won numerous awards with my writings. Thanks for asking! Have a kick azz day!

Going around the world probably looking at wondrous things and amazing animals and features and landmarks...then coming back home to the office to comment on them...but get paid a six figure income with lots of bonuses and priveleges and getting into intersting hilarious-tell your grandchildren-adventures and escapades along the way...is this possible I wonder

FalzalnZ - The healer

:)

I want to be a doctor.
Actually, anything in the medical field that allows me to save lives and make a difference.

And yeah, i'm in university right now so that's a step to achieving my dream job. I'm also working on my future thesis. And i read lots of books on medicine and healing and stuff like that. I consider myself to be an eclectic 'healer'. I won't employ just one method.
