Our family lives so far apart, now it is Thanksgiving that we get together, although we would love to be together at Christmas, so many cannot get off at that time to make the trip. We have a lot of fun at TG though! We eat, play board games, pile in cars and go out to eat at least once or twice (for breakfast or lunch), they are usually here the 4 days so we do all kinds of things, we always play white elephant Bingo which is a lot of fun. If we get too house bound we go to a movie, and the ladies always get up and go to the pre-Christmas early shopping spree, we usually buy for each other, wrap it and either go ahead and open it or send it home with each other. Each year is more fun than the one before.

Well I would have said Christmas myself for your same reasons, but my family doesn't like me anymore and the one person who I actually got along with passed away two months ago, soooo my favorite holiday is now my Birthday. Depressing answer I know, it's the truth though. When I have a family of my own, I'm sure Christmas will become my favorite holiday again.

Christmas. It bring back so many memories. It is when the family gets together. For the most everyone gets along at that time. I love watching my little girls faces when they open their presents, inluding my husbands! It such a happy time. Especially if it snows, that is so beautiful. I can't wait. I am like a big kid during that time. I go all out to decorate my house, It looks like a winter wonderland!

I like both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Whenever those holidays come near, I think about family. To me, those holidays are all about family meeting and spending time. Unfortunately, now, my family is scattered everywhere and we don't get together but once a year; and that's in February. So we all celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas then.

Halloween is my favorite, so needless to say I am pretty excited b/c it is coming up soon! I go to Salem, MA every year..always dress up for work (we have a costume contest) ...always give out candy to the little ones and I like it especially b/c of the weather & surroundings. The fall foliage is beautiful..the air is crisp and cool, etc. This time of year I throw on some jeans & a big comfy sweatshirt..get a big coffee or hot apple cider and drive up through NH or VT to take pictures of the scenary. Then there's pumpkin picking, hayrides, colorful mums, cornstalks...ok..I could babble forever. :-)

Christmas. I love watching my kids opening their presents. Just to see how excited they still get makes it so worth it.

Halloween, because it's in autumn. I love the smell in the air, the colorful leaves, pumpkins, bonfires, playing dress up & all the scary decorations. Second is New Years, because you can drink w/out anyone judging you & put all the sins of the last year to bed & start over fresh.
