when u asked this question, did u really made any research or something? what percentage of people says that they dont like america? what age group to this people belong to? well, i dont know! i see that a lot of people like america, and a lot of people dream of becomming an american citizen..and ofcourse there are people who dont like america for their own reasons maybe.. they may not like the administration, they may not like because they think america is against them and so on..
please rephrase the question

Why do people hate Americans? Why do people hate the British? Why do people hate the Japanese? Face it... every other nation in this world has it out for another... maybe even multiple other countries because of their history. Many countries hate the US because they feel that American stick their nose where it doesn't belong... act as the world's watchdog. Many countries hate the British because they envaded them long ago, and turned them into a British Territory. When I lived overseas, I was treated very well by other educated people. So, I've never known this hatred for Americans you speak of - but I know it exists. Just know that it exists for other nationalities as well.

A certain percentage of the world will never like the US because we are the lone superpower a poll was taken in Europe and 60% wish that America was weaker. The weakest American president in the last 100 years was Jimmy Carter and guess who the Europeans gave the noble peace prize. In actuality our strength just makes them look more inept it hard to like someone that shows up your own shortcomings.

It's not Americans that most people don't like, it's the American government and it's interference with other countries' internal doings. The "my way or the highway" mentality of the American government is what most people don't like.

It has to do with our politics. You must sit down with those who dislike us so and ask them why. In every case I have found they do not like us for our choice of President of the United States. That is why it is so important for us to all go to the poles at election time to vote. How we look to other nations is a direct result.

They are jealous, and they resent our strong government, economy and leadership.
Also, they think the level of venom coming from the different parties toward each other is riddiculous.

same reason why people dont like the school ritch kid, because they are better than all the rest, no mattter how kind and generous they really are, all the other school kids hate him because hes got the money they dont have.

personally i think it's more down your foreign policies...hopefully this can all turn around (with a lot of work of course), once G W Bush is finally out of power, of course the media doesn't help either!
