its normal, they are actually called pregnancy headaches.

I read an interesting "cure" for them on http://www.pregnancy-leads-to-babies.com.

wash your feet in warm water, take a pair of socks and soak them in cold water.. once you dry your feet put the cold sock on and then put a thick pair of woolly socks over the wet cold one. Sleep like this, when you wake in the morning, your feet are dry and your headache is gone.

I had horrible headaches with my first child until I was about 5 months. I eventually went to the ER over them and they told me to go get a pregnancy massage. It did help but it is costly. Try avoiding triggers like strong odours, perfume etc, and see if this helps. Also avoid caffine, choc , all the things that trigger headaches and see if this helps. Good luck, I know how horrible it is. Its hormones though, they take over during pregnancy!

Congratulations!!!!! and yes, you can get headaches during all the pregnancy, i will suggest to avoid all caffeine (including soft drinks), walk (not run )15 to 30 minutes a day, avoid to much salt, or sodium in your food,(soy sauce is one) ,as well of to much sugar, during pregnancy our body's react different and things that before ware well taking, know will up your blood pressure and so you'll get headaches.

I had really bad headaches early in my pregnancy. Tylenol didn't always work, so some I had to sleep off. Once I passed the midway point in my pregnancy, I stopped getting them.

headaches can be one of the side effects of pregnancy. I had them with my last pregnancy. There are many more side effects to come. Google "what to know when you are expecting" it will tell you so much more. Good luck and congrats!!!!!!!!!

the good news is that it is common and nothing to worry about, the bad news is you will probably continue to have them all the way up until you deliver, I would get them almost daily, sometimes so bad I couldn't even sit up for hours at a time
