The video plays fine on my computer. I have Windows Media Player 11 and almost all the codecs for it. It may just be possible you don't have an .asx codec, so if you reinstall windows media player, it should be able to work fine. I used http://cit.ucsf.edu/embedmedia/step2.php?mediatype=WindowsMedia for the code.

firstly try using director Macro-media this Will enable you to ftp the movie plus the web site together, this will enable you to test it offline and load it as it is, this is useful when you have loads of sound files, jpeg files
But you have to make the movie available on the site and if you have limited space you may not be able to do that I do not know the kine of web software you are using and how you are hosting(in regards of space) but you can get director MX from the macromedia site and you can use it for free , try it.
