kinda getting tired of myspace, but it's cool to k.i.t. w/friends and i hear they'll be charging people to use myspace in the near future. is that true? don't think they'll make it very far if they do. someone else should make their own site to knock them off the market if they do start charging fees.

They're not going to charge. Tom sent out notices a few days ago assuring everyone that it's just a rumor. There are several sites similar to MySpace. Yahoo 360, Friendster and a couple more that I've heard of but can't remember what they're called. MySpace is just the most popular.

They are never going to charge for use on myspace. That would be just stupid. So many people advertise through myspace, there would be no way of ever making the users pay for their usage!

Exactly... that's why it'll never happen. myspace can make far more money by selling advertising space. Also it's a massively valuable resource for Rupert Murdoch's Newscorp, which uses it to gain information on users' web browsing activity.

Myspace is a joke. It is nothing more than a bordello for pedofiles.

People who think otherwise are naive, brainwashed individuals.
