ofcourse ricardo is the best goalkeeper in the world he is a perfect goalkeeper..He is perfect during the matches and penalties..he almost saved all of the penalties against England
His eye contact with the ball is perfect..he perfectly knows were the balls are going..
he is waaaaaaaaaay better than buffon not only way..LoL

Only a penalties.. Buffon was the best.. Ricardo is NOT better then Buffon.

Gigi Buffon is the best goalkeeper of the World Cup 2006 and in the world today period! The fact that he was able to keep his posts clear for so long is evidence that he did the best job in the World Cup, additionally the fact that Italy won the World Cup should prove the point. The wickedly awesome job that he does protecting the goal at Juve and for the Azzuri on a regular basis just goes to show that he is the best shotstopper the world has to offer. Not to mention his recordmaking transfer fee from Parma to Juve shows what his reputation is. Additionally, he has loyalty to a club that has been good to him, and it has been repaid to him in spades. He has height, lankiness, agility, creativity, imagination, knowledge & skill that he executes with grace while in goal. Oh, and the fact that he is tall, dark and handsome doesn't hurt his cause either!

Nah... Jens Lehmann is still the best in the world... He's in Arsenal and that's a pretty great club you know... It's not easy to get in there...Lehmann has the quality...I liked him when he was in the penalty shootout against Argentina...He really rocks!!
But I still think that Buffon is better than Ricardo...

I wouldn't go as far as to say he was better than Buffon, its a pretty ignorant assumption to make just coz you don't like a team, but Ricardo was definitely one of the top keepers.

Yeah Ricardo is the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean i really don't like portugal, but Ricardo is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he looks like Silvester Stalone, what makes him hotter than Buffon!!!!!!!!!!! But Buffon is great, although i support France..........
