Many years ago cars had to get lubed at certain contact points where metal/metal contact was made particularlly on the suspention componenets and axel points. However, this is not the case anymore. The reduction of complexity of automobile systems have removed this requriement. Most cars have lifetime luberication. Nowadays you won't be surprised to fine manual transmissions with a totally sealed case. No way to check fluid no way to change it designed to last 5 to 6 years.

Those vehicles have components that don't require lube. The materials will last the normal life of the component and then be replaced. Many aftermarket component parts are greasable.
