I would really like to go and see a wild roe deer or even better a red deer in the wild and have been told that there are lots in and around cornwall, (truro) .
Can anyone help me or send me in the right direction please!!!

around the quarries at Greensplat , in the fields around Roche and by Winnards Perch roundabout along the Atlantic Highway , in fact there were five young red deer in a field by the afore mentioned roundabout just over a week ago in broad day light

I accidentally ran one over - it's in Hertfordshire, near Tring, currently at the side of a dual carriageway. You could go and have a look at that. Maybe even take it home for dinner and a nice venison stew?
