i have had at leat 11 open at a time will this detroy my computer?

The only time it's important to close windows is when you are on a public computer and you log out of a secure site like a banking site. If you don't close your window when you're done, someone else can come along and hit the Back button and see your personal info.

Having open browser windows will not destroy your computer, but it will make it work more slowly. Each window takes up a bit of computer memory. More open windows, more memory used. More memory used for open windows means a slower computer.

Each application takes up more of your computers memory.... If you purchased extra memory with your computer it shouldn't be a problem... if you are experiencing slow downs, closing some of these applications may speed things up a bit...

Keep them open. It's not important. It only slows things down
No worries if you have high RAM.
