Lol....I think when you have a baby you realize just how many things you had to give up.. No more partying or late night talks...no more having sex anytime you want. You cant take them out as much when it's cold because they get sick...and then your up all night walking up and down the stairs with a baby. Right now your at prime time you can go where you want and do what you want. If your ready to give that all up. Id say go for it but you really need to think about it.. Maybe you should get a dog first because at least a dog you can give back. A baby is forever... Have yall thought about getting married first? or anything like that ? So many guys want babies. someone cute so meone to carry there last name but so many guys dont want to take care of them. Believe me i nev er thought my baby dad would of left. but as soon as we said im pregnant...he's like are you sure its mine? and id been with him for 5 years! so just be careful what your asking for. and really weigh out your options! goodluck to you on whatever you decide!

only you know if you are ready. people say you are too young, but you are acting much older than 18 by having a good job and having your own place! There are women out there that are in their 20's and 30's and are having babies and are not as mature as you are. If you are ready, and you think that it is the right time to have a little one, then by all means, go for it! Would rather see an 18 yearold have a baby that wants it than a 28 year old that has one that doesn't!

I had my child at your age and I will never regret it, he is an awesome child and I did it because I knew I was ready to take on that role, that I didn't want to be like any of my friends that their lives consisted in partying and doing stupid things and non sense drama and because I wanted to have a family more than ever. Now, I feel the same way but I also sometimes wish that I would of waited a little more just enough to say that I had a good youth, doing the things that I was supposed to be doing at my age and not taking care of a child but that was my own choice and sometimes I do have time for myself to go and enjoy life at my age. I had to grow up a lot more than I was expecting since my husband and I separated but I chose that and like I said I will never regret it.

having a baby is ur own decision and if you think u r mature to handle a small life the go ahead
just bring in good wages doesnot mean that you easily support a baby
baby doesnot need money he needs ur time our attention love and care
why people are insisting that you are young of for that because babies are a 24 hrs whole lifetime job , it can be stressing, so think before you leap
i had a baby at 24 and i still insisted that i was too young for that , as i found it damn stressing

Take it slowly. A baby brings major changes in your life. You will be out of work for a while, can you mange on one salary? Remember the baby, has to eat too, and formula is expensive. When you do go back to work, who will take care of the baby? Do you have a parental support system? In the last few years grandparents have become babysitters, while parents work. I am not going to belabor the point just think about it first.

Age is not the question. Maturity and readiness is what matters. Well, age matters if you are a child/teenager.

You owe it to your baby to get settled and married and a bit more ready.

I was rather young but very ready. I had been married 2.5 years and we were very stable. You need to get your ducks in a row before thinking about babies.

I think you should give it a couple more years. Get married, go on your honeymoon, enjoy each other. Travel a little. Babies are wonderful (I have three), but be sure you live a little first. They're a lot of work, time, and energy. Having babies means sacrificing your needs to meet someone else's. It's wonderful, but it's something you should wait until your good and settled to do.

You are only 18 and have your whole life ahead of you.
You have so many things you could do with your life!
You could travel the world or something like that!
Why dont you get a kitten or something?
