So the population as a whole gives an average American that 3 out of 10 are Mentally ill beyond help.

Because they are mentally ill they have commited crime and since they are all the 24 hours in prison isolated lonely they may become more mentally ill..

No 75% of prison inmates are not mentally ill. They do have problems but I wouldnt say they are mental illness. You also cant say that 3 out of 10 americans are mentally ill beyond help by using some figure dealing with inmate population for the simple fact that not all people in prison are americans. Nice try though. You must be from somewhere other than the US.

That should be "Are 75%..." instead of "is"...and just because somone is mentally ill, does not make them "beyond help". There are all kinds of mental illnesses, some more serious/severe than others and many are treatable with counseling, meds, or both.

Not all mentally ill people are criminals or inclined to criminal behavior...and not all of those that participate in criminal behavior are mentally ill.
