i often have thoughts just as bad you've mentioned above. i'm not a doctor but what i do is use my words to fight my thoughts. sometimes i may do a short ritual if i must. and make sure that you have someone you can talk with about these thoughts. i hope this helped, good luck!

Thoughts like that may be signalling that something else is wrong. I suggest seeing a counsellor or psychologist. Also try asking yourself when you have these thoughts: (1) are they rational? (2) is there any proof they may be true (3) what is the worst that can happen (4) what are the chances of something bad really happening (5) and if you think the chances of something bad happening is good, ask yourself how often it has happened in the past. Hope you get some help soon, goo dluck.

It seems as though there is something very logical disturbing you? The most effective way to get rid of these thoughts is to find out why and where these thoughts are coming from. Are they from a loved one's death, a bad experience, feelings of abandonment, or even not having self satisfaction. You probably have learned by now that hurting yourself does not help to get of your thoughts, so I reccomend simply replacing them with others. Instead of saying "Omg..this is the end of the world" say "Ha, I know the solution", even if you don't. This allows the brain's thinking to adapt to various situations. Try this. Hope it works out.... :)

Simple. Fix the bad thoughts as much as possible. Examples:
(1) You worry about bed bugs? Begin sanitizing your bed and bedroom -- kill every bed bug you find in your mattress or find where they actually hide and kill them all and destroy every egg you'll find.
(2) You worry about your mother dying? Serve her well then. You just don't know when her time is coming; but if that time comes, at least you have nothing to regret about because you know to yourself you have served your mother well.... like you've been good to her and you've enjoyed her company while she was still there with you... like show her how much you love her.
Happy thoughts does not come easily but you can also try. Watching cartoons will help you make happy thoughts though. Or you might want to change the kind of music you listen to... something that's worry-free kind of music or less emotional.

I think the simple answer is 'replace' them with better thoughts. That is easier said than done though! You should also go to a psychologist to rule out any organic disease that may be causing the thoughts.
A support network may be needed. It's really hard to do on your own.

Everyone has bad thoughts every once in a while. However you can't dwell on them or they will constantly return. Ask God to place his hand upon your head and filter out those bad thoughts. Trust me it works

Think good happy thoughts, try and do something that you love doing all the time, talk with people, have fun, listen to jokes, laugh, be with a loved one. Good luck! Take care.
