It is true that Jim Kaat has the most, at 16, and Greg Maddux is runner up at 15. After that it drops way down there, to Bob Gibson who has 9.
Ivan Rodriguez has the most catcher awards, with 11...followed by Johnny Bench with 10.
First base awards are Keith Hernandex (11) and Don Mattingly (9)
Second base awards are Roberto Alomar (10) and Ryne Sandberg (9).
Third base awards are Brooks Robinson (16) and Mike Schmidt (10).
Short stop is Ozzie Smith (13) followed by Omar Vizquel.
Finally, for outfield awards its a tie that goes to Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays, at 12 a piece.
SO Jim Kaat not only has the most Golden Gloves for a pitcher, he also has the most Golden Gloves out of any position!
