and do they eat cause i tried everything from cereals to corndogs but it wouldnt eat till it died

It's a must that you change their water once or twice a week, depending on how much waste is dispensed...Please Please Please don't feed them anything but fish food, because they will eat anything and could possible die.

if u have a filter in ur tank then u only need 2 do a water change once a month by takin out a quarter of the fish tanks water out and replacin it with clean water. remember that a gold fish bowl is a BIG NO NO! and try feeding ur fish some good quality gold fish food, preferably the flake sort. GOOD LUCK!

Whenever the water int he tank starts looking murky, it needs to be cleaned, other wise your fish won't get enough oxygen.
Also, corndogs aren't particularly good for fish... Neither is cereal.
Buy a jar of fishfood form your local supermarket, or petshop and feed your fish according to the directions.
If you talk to the people you're getting your fish from, they should tell you how to properly care for them.

All fish need their water changed at some time.... Especially Goldfish, I don't know why but them guys are dirty!! I'm pretty sure goldfish don't like corndogs..... Next time try FISHFOOD... that was always my fishes favorite =)

Goldfish are very very dirty fish, so the water needs to be changed often probably 1-2 times a week and a filter might help too.

ye i change the water for my fishes every week once. and i give them all different kinds of "fishfood".
