Nolan Ryan surprisingly never won a Cy Young Award, despite the fact that he set a record for most career strikeouts (5714) and most career no-hitters (7).

Nolan Ryan is the right answer but the other name should be Don Sutton with 324 career wins never won a Cy Young either.

How about Juan Marichal? Ryan only won 20 games twice. Marichal won 20 games 8 times. These are 3 of his best years and Ryan never equal these stats.
1963 - (25-8)
1966 - (26-6)
1968 - (26-9)
