If I were you, I know that I would not do what the guy telling you to go to system32 and cut and paste such and such a file. I am a computer repair professional and what was suggested may work but I have never heard of it, and it sounds very risky. You may cripple your system. I have experienced this problem with several customers and the person who suggested that a technician may have re-installed windows without using your license key may be correct. You can compare the license key in your pc against the one written on your computer case. If they don't match then your loaded version is not genuine even though you are entitled to a genuine copy. The only way around that is to backup your docs, reformat and re-install windows using your genuine license key. You can go here to d/l a program that will show you the loaded license key. http://pcsupport.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=pcsupport&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.magicaljellybean.com%2Fkeyfinder.shtml
Good luck and take care! Charles.

Your computer computer has been "mugged" by Microsoft's WGA trojan. Do a google serach and find the instructions for "removing WGA". 17% of all systems flagged by Bill and his thugs turn out to be genuine.

be careful what you download from the internet. There are a lot of bugs and viruses out there waiting to infect you. Plus some updates are not compatible with every version of windows. If you don't know what you are doing, then don't do it.

Hi,
Try this out >>
1. Find wgatray.exe (usually it would be in c:/windows/system32 folder) file in your system
2. Rename it e.g. 1wgatray.exe
3. Open Task manager and delete wgatray.exe
4. Delete 1wgatray.exe
Regards,
Balaji A.

um, no that means you have not registered your version, you have to enter you numbers... if you have had your computer into a computer guy he may have had to reinstall windows and didn't put a registered copy in, or just didn't have your numbers, hit the option to resolve the problem. wow, just read the guy above he is obviously more knowlegable on this than I. yeah!!!that worked thanks!
