when getting tattoos do you think you should stick with a theme or is it better to have lots of tattoos that dont relate to each other

i am not a teenager and already have a few tattoos but planning more which i want to design myself

I think, when getting a tattoo...
you should keep in mind it's your body - do it your way.
My tattoos all have a common link...
besides the fact that i drew them first...
Do what's right for you...remember it's permanent.

Your best bet is to get the ones that disappear after a few days, so you won't be branded for life as a person who has little self esteem.
Also, the ones that wash off allow you to live out your life without embarrassment or regret over stupid, impulsive behavior at a time in your life when "being cool" was more important to you than being a decent, modest, moral young woman.

Some people get tattoos that symbolize their life happenings, (i.e., death of a special person, birth of a child(ren), their faith). It is really up to the person who is getting tattooed. You are the only one that can be the judge or what you put on your body.

It is all a personal issue. Your tattoos should be chosen to reflect what is important to you. Mine is an update of the old peace sign, but done with a bird and vines with flowers.

I don't think they necessarily have to have a link. I have two so far (my son's name, and me and my husbands' names. )I plan on getting one with my daughter's name, and then a few to represent what I have been through. Maybe a chinese character that signifies inner strength, or a teal something. (Teal is the color of sexual assault awareness)

I never really thought about it , I have a 4" long rose on one of my breast's , an angel on my lower back and Betty Boop on my ankle ! I guess they are all feminine .
