Click on "Help" at the top of the window... then click on 'About Internet Explorer". You'll see a pop up window that will give you all the information on the IE you're using.

1. click start.
2. Go to control panel
3. Click add or remove program icon.
4. Find in alphabetical listings Windows Internet Explorer.
5. You will find the version and the size of the file.
6. Just do not click it anymore, you might accidentally erase it.
Im not sure this is the best way. Just be careful what you're clicking. Happy surfing.

On the menu click Help>About and a window will pop up with info about the program including the version

yep help on your tool bar then about internt explorer gotta agree with the first one....
