Here in Australia we had a band called Mississippi - they went on to become Little River Band. There's a Scottish band called Texas, there was an outfit from England known as Utah Saints, you have the Georgia Satellites, the Detroit Spinners, one-hit wonders from the 70's Black Oak Arkansas, Ozark Mountain Daredevils...does MC (Motor City)5 count?

Boston, Chicago, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Manhattan Transfer, Buffalo Springfield (could be interpreted as two cities). That's all I can think of.
