Do you like the Titanic or the Holocaust? Why?

Neither of the above - my favorite disaster was the tsunami of a couple of years ago. Compared to that, the Titanic and the Shoa [Holocaust] were chicken feed.

The Titanic was amusing. All those rich snobs so cocky on that "unsinkable" ship dying on the first voyage out. And the orchestra kept playing while the ship sank! Funny stuff. The Holocaust was interesting but a little monotonous. All the killing was pretty much the same, a bit boring. But you know how efficient Germans have to be. Plus, they were pressed for time. They had to kill all the Jews before they lost the war. So I can understand the monotony but I still don't approve so I would say I like the sinking of the Titanic more.

Um i doubt u could use the word "Like" in the same sentence as the Holocaust and the Titanic disaster!!
But if ur reffering to which one caused more emotion(for me) then i would have to say the Holocaust!!
The titanic was a natural/man made mistake!! and the Holocaust was the reigning of one terrible man that should never have taken one breath!!

It depends on what you mean "like".
The Holocaust serves as a superb example of the evil that mankind is capable of and should serve as a considerable warning to us all. Following the delusions of one man can lead to phenomenal wrongs being committed and a failure to act to stop it is also wrong. It also shows just how dire the consequences of intolerance for race, religion and disability are if left to run riot.
The Titanic is simply a tragic case of engineering failure and arrogance as to our own ability to make something indestructible.
