I placed an order online and its staus stating that the order is pending due to shipping limits whats that mean?

It means that the shipping possibilities reached the limit (i.e all the shipping boys are already shipping something somewhere) so you have to wait till there is some free shipping resources to get your order.

You don't state what you ordered, so it makes it hard to get an answer here.

So, this could mean a couple of different things. For instance, when I worked a catalog company, we weren't allowed to send certain items to California. One of the items I remember is a set of dinnerware that had a gold leafed rim to it. This was a product that didn't fit in California's environmental laws.

Another possiblity is if you ordered something that might have a shipping weight restriction. Or, you ordered a food item and it can only ship during a certain time of the year.

If you could let us know WHAT you ordered, it might help you get a better answer.

did u order for a free linux cd?
whatever, that means that they have not yet shipped ur order, but it is more like queued for shipping in the near future (or as soon as possible)

It means that they can't send it right away because the delivery load is already full. They'll send it when they'll have room for your purchase.

it means that it is waiting for them to have the stock so that they can send it to you
