Yes, once its in the breast, it goes to the lymphatic system and that is the highway to the body.
The lymphatic system leads to your arm pits, neck and throat area, groin area, back of the knees that I am aware of... (probably more places than that).
And once cancer hits the liver, via this system of highways, then you are almost a sure gonner as there are no replacements, as in the kidneys and other organs.
Just like was stated, early detection and a lot of chemotheraphy are the tactic, plus radiation can virtually wipe out most cancers in the breast now. More women and men are surviving this dreaded disease.

breast cancer spreads all over the body ... if not treated. Breast cells grow out of control and invade near by tissue or spread through the body... the tumors are this clump of cells that grow out of control. Malignate tumors are the ones that spread through out the body and affect nearby tissues. the most affected area is the ducts in the breast and the glands. because this drains the uck out of this peticuliar system and has to do with the lymph nodes ... If the Lymph node goes bad ... You have troubles ... but it takes a while to detect .. that is why women get tested... but if you dont find it .. untill its too late ,,,, the damage has been done ...
