If you are putting yourself in danger than you need to see a doctor. There are sleep disorders like REM Behavior Disorder that can lead to you or others getting hurt. Sometimes meds are prescribed.

Tie yourself to a bed post before falling asleep lol.

Don't sleep alone but don't keep any sharp objects nearby because you just might begin stabbing the person sleeping with you. Did you know that a lot of deadly incidents happened due to sleepwalking? lol.

Seriously, maintain a good rest. Like, relaxing first before going to bed, or at least you're worry-free before going to bed. You'd be less prone to having bad dreams that will cause you to sleepwalk.

attempt those: ensure you get lots of relax; being overtired can set off a sleepwalking episode. improve a calming bedtime ritual. some human beings meditate or do rest workouts; tension might properly be yet another set off for sleepwalking. do away with something from the mattress room that would desire to be unsafe or risky. This is going to sound really stupid but it is how I stopped myself. I put locks on all my doors. Mainly my bed room. I found that when I was sleepwalking I couldnt figure out how to get the lock open and then snapped out of it.

Sometimes it's just anxiety, or stress. When that is gone,
so is the sleepwalking!

yes but whats the cure... i have been known to go on the wonder and at one point i scared my son, i tried to tip him out of bed!!!

Have your best friend or whomever duct tape you up before you go to bed.
