Having served overseas many years ago, YES!!! They are looking for what we have in America, a chance to get out of their 3rd world country and move to the land of opportunity. Yes, to people who have little or nothing, America is a place where they see a chance to get ahead.
There is an old saying, " You get what you pay for!!" If you get a bar fly, that is all you will have. Think long and hard about that before you decide what to do. Even in the USA, 50% of all marriages fail, and foreign marriages even higher percent.

The Thai bar girls are there to earn a living and the foreigners are their sources of income.
The foreigners goes there to have a good time and looking for love must be secondary on their minds.
If the Thai girls are lucky and if fate would have its way, they may find true love in one of her customers. I would think this would be very rare.

What you ave here is the classic (Along with tens of thousands of others) of mistaking the Girl Friend Experience (GFE) game that is played by working girls in Pattaya. You are operating on the basis of love etc while she is working on making a living. I give the same to every guy who is going to Thailand and Pattaya in particular Can you have a successful with an ex bar girl from Pattaya? - Yes Have people ever survived a fall from 20,000ft and survive without a parachute ? - Yes But the smart money say's in both cases that you are end up a broken mess.
