Each of the PC's has to connect to the router, either with a wire, or wirelses, if the router is wireless.

There is an excellent tutorial at Linksys web site.

The tutorial still applies, even if you have some other brand router.

Pardon me if I send you the Tutorials, but it will be easier for you to follow and if you bookmark them, you can refer back to them. These stand regardless what kind of hardware that you use, but follow the connection instructions from your router manual, yout ISP as well.

It will not be as daunting a task once you get the hang of it. You'll be Networking in no time.

You did not indicate if you are using Wireless technology. There are some extra steps to take, but the basic concept is still the same!

Plug the cable or dsl into the router, then plug the computers into the router via ethernet cable.

is it a DSL router , does it have multi port ?
