Well, I used to use it a lot, but since the last few years this word is being censored like hell, on the net, in the movies and in WWE. I know it contains the same meaning as potty or any other word but now I think it is not good.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the word either. Sounds alot better than 'stool sample'.
Ever wonder who came up with such words. What if instead of sh*t, the word was carrot for example. "I need to go take a carrot". My son and I play that game all the time.
