I would like to know what is the difference between a chronic illness and a terminally illness because my wife has a chronic disease called diabetes.

Terminal means it will kill you. Chronic means it is life-threatening. I have diabetes, too, and it can be severe, but there is a treatment.

Cancer is sometimes a terminal illness.

Simple illness is a type of illness which goes after short period of time. This is usually due to virus or bacteria. Chronic illness is type of illness which is permanent. This can be caused due to some body part not working properly. Terminally illness is type of illness which is deadly and normally doctors give time for a patient's maximum time of survival.

Diabetes is a malfunction of an organ in our body.
