I understand mansnake what you are saying and of course I have feelings about 9/11. I also understand that it must have been a great shock to the people of the US to have had their homeland invaded and abused. However, this is the very reason why the US should care what is happening to the rest of us mortals.

No country can afford to be an island these days! All for one and one for all.

No!
In USA they are divided into three groups: those who do not have a clue about anything, those who know and do not care and those who know and gaining from the war and the last are the guys running the country!
Today G Bush started to realise that Iraq is getting similar to Vietnam. But I think it is worse than Vietnam, more civilians are killed in Iraq than any other war, WW1 and WW2 was built on a decent and convincing reasons while Iraq war is an oil war to control the world.
One day, may be after 50 years, a book will come out with all the secretes of this war, the relationship between Taliban and USA, who committed 9/11, what was the real aim of this war.

Well as i see it, religion was always a sensitive matter that caused problems but now suddenly it has embraced the planet after this war. Poor people become poorer and rich people become richer. The strongest are trying to control or eliminate the weakest as if we are living in the jungle. The technology has been dramatically developed but the human mind is still in the homo sapiens age. People have become zombies, they just follow. The control of energy sources will affect everyone. World once again will have changed. And finally another chapter will be added in the history for the new generations to learn from our mistakes which will have no effect as everyone reads history but not many really know how to make use of it.

America is not as stupid as some believe. The average people will pay the consequences of the Iraq Republican War. The Republicans say we are there because they love people and want them to be free.
We are not going after the terrorists. Why do people keep pretending we are fighting the people responsible for 9/11?

Probably not

But I'm too pissed off by 7/7 to really care.

My priority will always be my own people - the British people.

They marched against this war (1 million of them in London) and the filthy pigs who blew up London on 7/7 STILL claimed that these innocent civillians "deserved" to die because of their "support" of Tony Blair sending British troops to Iraq.

After 1 million+ of us marched AGAINST it?

Of course - anything better than that couldn't really be expected of the sort of filthy scum lowlife that bombed London on 7/7

But it still makes me too mad to think much about Iraq. What are we supposed to do? If we march we are ignored by our government and murdered by Muslim freaks. I suggest we just leave them to it and take care of our own.

it depends what you mean:
(1) as a recruiting tool for terrorists?
(2) as part of a new phase of illegal attacks by the west?
(3) as evidence that US military might is now insufficent to pacify a nation of 17 million?
