If you're referring to Eidelweiss - that's from the Sound of Music & came out in the sixties. It was performed in the movie by Christoper Plummer & Julie Andrews - also by the "Von Trapp"
children.

Edelweiss...
Edelweiss...
Every morning you greet me
Small and white, clean and bright
You look happy to meet me
Lonesome and slowly
You bloom and grow
Bloom and blow forever...
Edelweiss...
Edelweiss...
Bless my homeland forever...
Small and white, clean and bright
You look happy to meet me
Lonesome and slowly
You bloom and grow
Bloom and blow forever...
Edelweiss...
Edelweiss...
Bless my homeland forever...
