He won two huge games in a row for liverpool and he's been the reason for the England's team success,he is one of the best strikers but doesn't get enough hype.

I agree, he is a very good footballer.
Unfortunately purely down to his height and appearance he will never get the recognition he desearves from fans. When you watch a game and Liverpool or England aren't playing well, no matter how he is playing Peter Crouch is the first player to be slagged off.

No he isn't, but he is underrated.Look at example Daniel Carvalho from CSKA Moscow, he is surley one of the best attacking middfielders in the world.Sorry, the question was about Crouch, he is the best England forward, since Teddy Sheringham, and Owen about 5 years ago.

Yup,I agree with you.He is a great player,he even helped Liverpool to win the match against Bordeaux.And his goal against Galatasaray was so amazing.I wonder why he is underrated when he is one of the best English players I've ever seen!

He is very under-rated - im surprised that he isnt spied on more often - he is 1 england goal away from becoming the highest goalscorer in a calendar year of alltime - and not far from england greatest Striker of all time

i have to agree that crouch is a dangerous air striker because of his height. but i don't see that he is underrated. He is a good striker, but he has little control of the ball. His tall legs make it harder for him to play well and maneuver the ball quickly.
