you may have an ovarian cyst. most cysts are not harmful, but you should definitely go see your gyno. Ask your gyno for an ultrasound to definitely see if you have a cyst or not. Demand the test. Hopefully you have health insurance. I had one of these in the past, and I got on the pill and the pain went away. The cysts come and go, and I've had two of them since I was 16, I am now 28. If this is what you have, you want to make sure your doctor monitors it, sometimes they may not leave your body and continue to build up mass. You may have something else, so you need to go see your gyno asap.

Please be careful. Please see a board certified gynecologist. It can be a number of things included the previous answers of ovarian cyst or endometrious.
Also know that if you have had unprotected sexual activity it is a possibility that you can have an infection. Not all infections are visible by the naked eye. Even if you have had an infection [vaginal or sexually transmitted] and have taken antibiotics -- it may not fully clear up. Your reproductive organs are low in the abdominal cavity and when their inflamed [due to possible infection] its painful.
There are a number of problems you can have
1) ovarian cyst
2) ovarian abscess
3) sexually transmitted disease
4) PID -- pelvic inflammatory disease
5) The beginning of toxic shock syndrome -- especially if you use tampons.
6) fibroids
The list can go on and on -- see a GYN -- have them take bacterial culture for gonorrhea and chlamydia -- and possibly mycobacteria -- Also ask re: trans vaginal sonogram -- which a better view of your reproductive system

Possibly an ovarin cyst or endemetriosis. Endemetreosis is tissue growing in places it shouldn't so it can cause a lot of pain. The only way to detect it is laparascopy which is a minor surgery where they make an incision by your belly button to put in a camera to look around and if they see something another insicion to remove it. A cyst is detected by a ultar sound which can be done 2 ways your belly and vaginal. Get to your Dr and make sure to tell him or her everything. Hope this helps!

just try consulting a doctor to get all your doubts cleared. each individual is made differently. the symptoms maybe similar to what others are suffering but prognosis could be totally different. so why not get the whole thing cleared by an expert. do not delay, get a thorough check up done.
