what attracts the students of a university for a lecture?

there are some students of a university and they study english litrrture, so please tell me a topis that absorb them for more than15 minutes. and I could get a good mark from the teacher. thank you

give life like examples to things, i know when i professors link things to his life to his students or even things hes seen/ heard about, it draws my attention. sometimes its more interesting hearing about real life thing that just the lit. so whatever your reading about, explain it in the real world today!
