Does the entity called "asteroid" bear even the slightest resemblance to the entity called "hemorrhoid" -- if not, to what does the "IT" in your sentence refer? I don't know of any "IT" that is alternately called asteroid or hemorrhoid depending on its location.
The question does not make logical sense.

I will asume that you confused hemisphere with atmosphere. (you know, like asteroid, hemorroid?)
Studying things outside earth's atmosphere is called Astronomy (aster:star; nomos:law). The ancient saw asteroids similar to stars (the shine in the skies, etc) the root -oid means "similar to" (like android, andros: man, asteroid...)
Studying what happens in the atmosphere is called Meteorology (meteoros:elevated) hans, meteor, meteorite...
Best wishes.

Whilst your quip can be considered slightly humourous - it should be located in the riddles section, not in the section on astronomy and space.
In future please post your questions and quips in the appropriate sections.
